“I am never meant to be in Qatar.” was my feeling a few years back. But who knew what’s in my fate? I certainly didn’t.
Spending some of the precious time of my life in the Arabian peninsula, I found myself to be obsessed with some of the qualities of this country. I would have never known much without being here.
Temperature: The trait of the gulf, which you can’t ignore is the climate. Especially if you happen to be here in the month of July August, the tropical climate is going to welcome you with thorns. High temperature, accompanied by high humidity, creates a super steamy climate. Not much to worry, as every corner of your living place is air conditioned.
The Richness: Its place of absolute richness with boundless opportunities. The amount of money you can earn is virtually unlimited. Given the conditions you happen to get the right opportunity. And yes, your native country and professional competence has a big part in it.
Women: Some of the most beautiful from the globe live in your locality. From the absolutely traditional Arab women to the highly showy expat women, the diversity is prodigious. In the place where men outnumber women by four to one ratio, lucky if you are, will find someone to accompany you. And yes the luck will pretty much depend on your weight of your pocket.
Natives: Qatari nationals are decent people. They possess a tall majestic appearance, a traditional Arab. Learned and mannered, most of them are absolutely rich, qualified businessmen and of proud nature. The only instant they seem to lose their nobility is when they are behind the wheels of a super turbo engines.
Resource: This country has abundance of mineral oil resources and natural gas. It is one of the largest petroleum and cooking gas suppliers of the world. But it lacks fresh water resources. Anyone who lives a day here, will stay enough to find the fact that in this part of the world, the petroleum is actually cheaper than water.
Diversity: People from all around the world travel this part of the world for employment opportunities, Business and tourism. The majority are from neighbour and the south Asian countries. A large population of non-muslim community resides in the country with Islam as the state religion. In the crowd, almost every single head represents every single nation.
The developing state of Qatar is among the richest country in the world. It is selected as the host country for the FIFA 2022 World Cup. And yes, you are invited.
